Coulaj Eans, an NAIA All-American during his freshman season at Xavier-Louisiana, placed second in the men's 17-18 division long jump final with a wind-aided effort of 23-8 (7.21m) in the third round at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Eans finished sixth at the NAIA Outdoor Championships on May 25 at Indiana Wesleyan with a wind-aided performance of 24-2.50 (7.38m).
